Annadanam
This scheme seeks to
provide homely food, ready-to-eat meals - to an identified group of
persons who are not in a position to earn their livelihood due to old
age ,disability or sickness. Inaugurated on 22nd September 2002, in the
western localities of Kochi City, the scheme now feeds more than 25
persons every day, without a single day break.
Vastradanam
Through this scheme, persons
from the economically weak sections of our society are provided
clothing, including uniforms for school children. Cloths are being
provided to more than 500 persons every year
Aashraya
On, 12th
September 2003, Sri Dayananda.V Kamath dedicated a spacious 25-bedded
home for senior citizens opposite to Sree Sudheendra Medical Mission,
Chittoor Road, one of the main arteries of Kochi. Named Dr Narmada
Dayanand Kamath Senior Citizens' Home, this project seeks to provide a
safe, hygienic and caring ambience for the elders of the GSB community.
Yet another dream of the Trust came true on Thursday,
4 th January 2007 when H.H. Sreemad Sudhindra Theertha Swamiji
stepped with his lotus feet in Dr. Narmada and Dayanand Kamath
Multipurpose Charitable Complex (NDMCC) at Karnakodam. The Trust has
now a 28000 sq.ft. complex, a massive structure as compared to a
small house provided by Sree Sudheendra Medical Mission. where the Trust
adopted two mentally challenged women way back in October
2003.They got rehabilitated along with their 70 year old mother in that
small house and in due course, three
more children from Alleppey were adopted by the Trust.
